Residential & Day Centre Creative Programs (‘house warming’ suite options)
One on one and group sessions undertaken in residential aged care or Day Respite Centres. These sessions often support those experiencing the challenge of relocating to live in aged care or attending a new day centre. They can offer creative companionship and friendship aids when distress or isolation are present.
Length and duration of the sessions are determined after an assessment is undertaken with the resident, their family and service provider. Sessional reports are generated to inform the residents support team/family, and content is subject to ongoing review.
This offering is available to residents referred by the Clinical Support Team, Dementia Support Australia, or for those families/ centres who wish to pay privately.
